Cara Delevingne is heartbroken following a large fire that broke out at her home in Studio City, California, on Friday morning.

Sharing her heartfelt emotions on social media, Delevingne expressed, "My heart is broken today. I cannot believe it. Life can change in an instant, so cherish what you have," Delevingne advised, while also expressing her heartfelt thanks to the firefighters and all who helped put out the fire, saying, "from the depths of my heart.

The Los Angeles Fire Department swiftly responded to the incident at the 6,650-square-foot, two-story house at 6:13 a.m. They discovered a fire that started in one room at the rear and escalated into a deep-seated attic fire.

Once the firefighters ensured everyone was safely out of the home (Delevingne was in London at the time), they battled the flames. However, during the firefighting efforts, the roof collapsed as they hosed down the house.

It took 94 firefighters 2 hours and 16 minutes to access, contain, and extinguish the flames, according to the Fire Department. One firefighter was taken to a nearby hospital in "fair condition," and one of the residents suffered minor smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, as stated by the LAFD.
In a separate Instagram story, Delevingne reassured her followers that her two cats, who reside at the home, were unharmed.
